In Bubble Space
This is a submission for the QuadJam 6 game jam. The game is made under 48 hours with a team of 3 people.
In this latest space experiment, we have figured out how to manipulate the gravitational constants of objects. But just how powerful can this new discovery be?
That's where you come in, my humble test subject! Do you have what it takes to challenge the new frontiers of science?
Objective: Get to the door to conquer a chamber. Rinse and repeat.
Controls:
Movement => WASD
Shoot Anti-gravity bullet => Left Click
Shoot Restore-gravity bullet => Right Click
Pause/Settings => Press P
FAQ:
- The web build is too laggy to play.
Unfortunately we couldn't debug this in time within the submission hour. Certain machines fare better than others in handling this (rather heavily resourced) game. We will try to release a Windows version soon.
- The cubes bounce in such weird ways, I can't control it.
A little tip that might help, where you hit the cube as well as the angle of incidence of the collision matters. If you hit a face that's pointing down, the cube will go up.
- After level 9, I'm bounced back to the main menu, it's frozen and I can't press anything.

- Who made the graphic assets and sounds?
We used some free third party assets and SFX, and will try to collect and give credits. It was quite hard to keep track in the frantic hours of the jam.
- Do you have other games like this?
Yes! There's a spiritual predecessor to this that we made called Laser Turtles! Or you can just go play Portal I guess.
